MDC Cares: Bag of Hope – Balik Eskwela Program 2026

Bringing Smiles, One Bag at a Time

As part of Martin Development Corporation’s commitment to giving back to the community, MDC Cares continued its Bag of Hope – Balik Eskwela Program in 2026.

Held on May 29–30, 2026, the initiative provided school bags and essential school supplies to deserving students, helping them prepare for the new school year with the materials and support they need to begin their studies with confidence.

This year’s Bag of Hope program reached students from three schools in Ilocos Norte:

• Carasi Elementary School – Carasi, Ilocos Norte
• Casili Elementary School – Laoag City, Ilocos Norte
• Adams Central Elementary School – Adams, Ilocos Norte

Each bag was thoughtfully prepared with essential school supplies to help young learners as they return to the classroom and continue their educational journey.

Beyond the school supplies, the Bag of Hope initiative represents MDC Cares’ continued effort to support children and contribute to the communities where MDC operates. By providing practical assistance at the start of the school year, the program aims to encourage students and help them feel prepared and motivated to learn.

The smiles of the students serve as a meaningful reminder that even a simple act of giving can make a difference. Through initiatives like Bag of Hope, MDC Cares continues to turn its commitment to community service into meaningful action.
