MDC Launches KAPOTE PROJECT to Protect Delivery Riders During the Rainy Season

On August 18, 2026, Martin Development Corporation (MDC) launched the KAPOTE PROJECT, an initiative dedicated to providing added protection and support to its delivery riders as they continue their daily work despite challenging weather conditions across Luzon.

As rain, heavy downpours, and unpredictable weather become part of everyday road conditions, delivery riders remain constantly on the move. They travel through different routes and communities to ensure that every parcel reaches its destination safely and on time.

Through the KAPOTE PROJECT, thousands of raincoats were distributed to MDC’s dedicated delivery riders. The initiative provides them with practical protection they can rely on while working during rainy days and difficult weather conditions.

More than simply providing raincoats, the project reflects MDC’s commitment to the people who keep its operations moving. Our riders play an important role in ensuring that deliveries continue to reach customers, rain or shine.

At Martin Development Corporation, we believe that supporting our people means helping them stay safe, prepared, and protected while carrying out their responsibilities.

The KAPOTE PROJECT is one simple yet meaningful step toward creating a safer and more supportive working environment for our delivery riders.

Because protecting our riders means supporting the people who keep every delivery moving.

Rain or shine. Through every journey. MDC stands with our riders.

For Every Ride. For Every Rain. We Keep Moving.
