On August 28, 2026, the Martin Development Corporation (MDC) family came together to commemorate National Heroes Day through a celebration that highlighted Filipino culture, history, unity, and pride.
Employees embraced the occasion by wearing traditional Filipino attire, including elegant Filipiniana dresses, ternos, and Barongs, creating a vibrant celebration of our country’s heritage.
The event featured an engaging trivia activity about Philippine national heroes, giving employees an opportunity to learn more about the lives, contributions, and sacrifices of the individuals who helped shape the nation’s history. Fun games and activities also brought everyone together, creating an atmosphere of laughter and camaraderie.
Of course, no MDC celebration would be complete without sharing good food. Employees gathered together for a wonderful feast, making the occasion an opportunity to enjoy not only the activities but also the company of fellow members of the MDC family.
More than a celebration, the occasion served as a reminder of the values embodied by the Filipino heroes we remember—courage, service, perseverance, unity, and dedication to a better future.
Their legacy continues to inspire us in our everyday lives and reminds us that heroism can also be reflected in the simple acts of serving others, working with purpose, helping our communities, and contributing to the growth of our nation.
As we remember the heroes who came before us, MDC also celebrates the Filipino spirit that continues to live on in every generation.
Remembering our heroes. Celebrating our culture. Building a better future together.
Happy National Heroes Day from Martin Development Corporation!
