MDC Launches KAPOTE PROJECT to Support and Protect Delivery Riders

On August 18, 2026, Martin Development Corporation (MDC) launched the KAPOTE PROJECT, an initiative designed to provide added protection and support to the company’s delivery riders as they continue their duties despite challenging and unpredictable weather conditions across Luzon.

Delivery riders spend much of their working day on the road, traveling through different routes and communities to ensure that every parcel reaches its destination safely and on time. During the rainy season, their daily responsibilities can become even more challenging due to heavy rain, sudden downpours, and difficult road conditions.

As part of the KAPOTE PROJECT, thousands of raincoats were distributed to MDC’s delivery riders, providing them with practical protection that they can use while performing their duties during rainy days and adverse weather conditions.

The initiative reflects MDC’s commitment to supporting the people who play an essential role in keeping its delivery operations moving. By providing riders with additional protection, the company hopes to help them stay better prepared and equipped while working on the road.

More than simply distributing raincoats, the KAPOTE PROJECT represents MDC’s continued effort to look after its people and recognize the dedication of its delivery riders, who continue to serve customers even when weather conditions become challenging.

At MDC, we believe that supporting our people means helping them stay prepared, protected, and empowered to perform their work safely and effectively.

Rain or shine. Through every journey. MDC stands with our riders.

For Every Ride. For Every Rain. We Keep Moving.
